Visit to Maison des Anges orphanage

Santana BEFORE SAS : was found barely breathing in her old orphanage  and now AFTER SAS intervened: she has been rescued from this orphanage and is happy. Because of your generous contributions we were able to give her the proper care she deserves as she just underwent numerous surgeries and is happily recovering.

We all remember little Clifford of the Rosemina Orphanage from last December’s Santa’s Wonderland! Here is yet another story of hope! Jason Miller of the Knights of Columbus at BMPMH writes: “Clifford was finally fit yesterday and he is walking on two legs again! He has a ways to go before being “perfect” with it, as he has been used to crutches for quite a while now. All he needs is practice. We are having him come back in a few weeks for a check up, and I hope that he is walking without crutches by then… kids have a great way figuring things out on their own…” Thank you for giving Clifford this amazing gift!

Rescued and Happy Orphans

We visited the rescued children of the recently closed down Divine Misericorde Orphanage in their new home in Faucher, one hour outside of Port-au-Prince. The orphanage, located on a hill, sea-side, is still in construction. The children, at last, are happy!

The students of the Rudolph Steiner School in NY enjoy the cha-chas made by Haiti’s Timkatec kids in the Urban Zen workshop at our Santa’s Wonderland event in December 2011.
